Dodl Bear's 'World Book Day' Adventures!
Dodl Bear was recently sent on a mission to Yarborough Academy School to hold workshops in the Willow, Ash and Cherry classes. His storyteller companion Astoria and him have been very busy meeting Key Stage One children over the past couple of weeks, making it even more special on the 7th March 2019 with it being World Book Day!
World Book Day is a day to celebrate our love for reading and becoming our favourite character for the day! Dodl Bear enjoyed sharing his adventures with the children and they helped him finish his story along with finding his friends.
Emma, a KS1 teacher at Yarborough Academy, stated how 'lovely and interactive the workshops were and how Dodl Bear has become a firm favourite! The children had their imaginations inspired making it a fun-filled and creative day.'
Dodl Bear loves meeting children and encouraging them to get creative. The children loved becoming storytellers, using the Dodl Mindfulness Cards and finding out what goodies Astoria had in the magical bag.
We hope to take Dodl back to Yarborough School soon to meet the wonderful children again, to hear their amazing stories and to help make the world a better place, together.
