Book a Workshop

Here at Fingley HQ we don’t just offer exciting magical stories and cuddly bears. Oh no.

Did you know that we have a series of children’s workshops based around our books?

We offer all types of crafty, writing, painting, drawing, reading and interactive workshops for children, and our aim is to get those imaginations running wild!

You will usually find us doing one of our workshops at one of our events, like Lincoln Inspired. Our little visitors loved our art and craft activities, some of which were - Make A Monster Bookmark, an Ozzy the Owl Father’s Day card, and Make Your Own Pixie Potion!

We also offer creative reading and writing workshops, which get your children thinking about characters, plot and dialogue and gives them an amazing opportunity to tap into their imaginations.

We use The Magical World of Fingley Series to help children with subjects like Geography, History, Art, Design, Music and English.

We tailor our workshops to suit each client’s needs and can offer special themes if requested. We often do workshops for special times of the year, like Halloween, Christmas, World Book Day and National Book Week!

We have had great success with our educational workshops, which we bring into local primary schools and deliver to classes or groups of children to help them get creative and introduce them to the Magical World of Fingley. We also have a Teaching Resource Pack available to purchase, suitable for KS1 and KS2.

In addition to our school workshops, we now offer events and workshops in our own Fingley’s Restaurant space, and venues in the surrounding area!

The workshops are aimed at children age 5 – 11, and are suitable for children with dyslexia and learning difficulties.
