The Character Bear for a New Generation
DODL BEAR® is a fictional character in children's literature. His name means, ‘Doing Ordinary Deeds Lovingly’ and his purpose is to encourage a belief that by doing good deeds, we can help to make the world a better place.
This inquisitive, friendly and very loveable bear originates from The Great Bear Constellation, with his heart shaped face, love of time-travel, adventures and unmistakable purple paws - is fast becoming
a classic character for a new generation.
He first appeared to Daisa Morgan on 10th April 2003 in a mindfulness exercise and then hibernated for 9 years!
He eventually made an appearance in her first story; ‘Tom’s Time Tunnel Quest’ and now features in
The Magical World of Fingley book series written by Daisa. This has developed into a range of Mindfulness Gifts, Children’s Workshops and most recently a Retail Outlet and ‘Themed’ Diner based on his magical world.
A Bear on a Mission
Everyone loves a teddy bear and the time has come for a new character bear that brings something different to the world of children’s fiction and make believe.
Starting life as a comfort bear to support counselling and introduce Mindfulness, Dodl has become the central character in a complete magical world - The Magical World of Fingley.
This is a bear on a mission - to visit children and adults when they are dreaming and take them on a life-changing adventure in this magical world. When they eventually awake they find a Dodl Card, a mindfulness message that reminds them to keep focused on their intention in order to make their dreams come true.
